Market Data Available
Equities
Access the information generated as equity trades occur throughout the day (live or intra-day data). The statistics we generate after trading has closed include end-of-day data, historical data, reference data, corporate events, and regulatory news. Live equity subscribers can connect directly to our data center for live equity market data. Some live data distributors offer delayed market data. You may also subscribe to our live data service and choose to delay the data. In order for data to be classified as delayed, a 15-minute lapse must be applied. We offer a range of statistical, pricing, and reference data. These products are packaged into various intra-day and end-of-day data products.
BOND
Access the information that is generated as Bond trades occur throughout the day (live or intra-day data) and the statistics, pricing and reference data that we generate after trading has closed including end-of-day data and historical data. Connect directly to our datacentre for live bond market data. Some live data distributors offer delayed market data. You may also subscribe to our live data service and choose to delay the data. In order for data to be classified as delayed, a 15-minute lapse must be applied.
Historical Tick Data
The DSE's tick data encompasses the full market depth order book data messages that are published via the DSE real-time full depth Level 2 market data feed. This data allows one to reconstruct the order book at any point to assist with trading performance analysis, trading strategy testing as well as other uses. The DSE makes historical tick data available for its markets, namely Equity and Bonds, Parties are able to easily see the range of data available and make a purchase and obtain access in a quick and efficient manner. Educational use If you require the Historical Data to support an educational activity, the DSE will consider waiving Historical Data fees as long as certain conditions are met. If you wish to proceed on the basis of the policy, please complete the Historical Data Order Form and indicate in the relevant place that you need the data to support an academic activity. International Securities Identification Number (ISIN) An international securities identification number (ISIN) is a 12-digit code that is used to uniquely identify a security’s issue e.g. shares, bonds, etc. This is currently the main method of securities identification worldwide. The DSE is the recognized numbering authority for issuing ISINs for Tanzania, as authorized by the Association of National Numbering Agencies (ANNA)
